During the Multan gas tanker blast, Rani was among the many animals severely affected by
the disaster. She sustained critical burn injuries, leaving her in a life-threatening condition.
Her owner, overwhelmed by her suffering, was prepared to have her slaughtered.
In this distressing situation, Team JFK intervened and made the decision to save her life. We
compensated her owner and brought Rani into our care at the shelter. Her condition required
intensive and specialized treatment, making her case extremely challenging. However, our
veterinary team and support staff worked tirelessly to provide her with the best possible
medical care, comfort, and rehabilitation.
Rani was later transferred to our shelter, where she lived the remainder of her life in peace,
safety, and dignity under continuous care.
